Our story began with a casual visit to a friend’s new home, where a gorgeous sofa caught our eye—only to discover it had been cut in two. When I asked the obvious question, “Why not buy one that comes apart?” I was met with surprise. They hadn’t even considered such a solution existed, and to be honest, neither had I.

Curiosity piqued, I began searching for sofas that could be easily disassembled and reassembled, but to my surprise, the options were limited, to say the least. This led me to ponder potential solutions, and that pondering soon turned into prototyping. Before long, I had a fully built example, and it wasn’t just me who saw the potential—friends and family began urging me to share this concept with the world. And so, our company was born.

From the outset, one of our core values has been sustainability. We quickly realized that the unique construction of our sofas would allow us to offer a guaranteed buy-back program. This means that every part of an old sofa could be removed, recycled, and given new life, rather than ending up in a landfill.
